Bradley Park bridge to close for construction

The Bradley Park Drive bridge at the Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) in Columbus is scheduled to close this weekend for installation of polymer overlay (concrete). Only the bridge will close; the US 80/State Route 22/JR Allen Parkway ramps will remain open.

The detour is as follows: Traffic exiting JR Allen Parkway (US 80/SR 22) westbound at Exit 3A as well as traffic on the west side of the bridge will be detoured via Bradley Park Drive to JR Allen Parkway (US 80/SR 22), then to Exit 2 (I-85 ramps), and back onto JR Allen Parkway to re-access Exit 3A.

Traffic exiting JR Allen Parkway (US 80/SR 22) eastbound at Exit 3A, as well as traffic on the east side of the bridge will be detoured via Bradley Park Drive to JR Allen Parkway (US 80/SR 22), then to Exit 4 (River Road/SR 219), and back onto JR Allen Parkway to re-access Exit 3A.

The detour is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 and end at 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24. This is weather permitting. Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
