Tallulah Falls girls snap skid with 53–33 win over Prince Avenue Christian

TALLULAH FALLS, Ga. — The Tallulah Falls girls basketball team halted a two-game losing streak Thursday with a decisive 53–33 home win over Prince Avenue Christian.

The Lady Indians (2–2) set the tone early in the Upper School gym, jumping out to a 14–6 lead behind scoring from LB Kafsky and Lia Sanjur Santos. Tallulah Falls carried a 22–16 advantage into halftime, aided by four second-quarter points from Mia Kerr.

Kafsky added six points in the third quarter, and Tallulah closed strong with Marta Beltran and Klara Dvorakova scoring seven apiece in the final period.

Kafsky led all scorers with 12 points. Beltran finished with 11, Dvorakova had nine, Sanjur scored seven, and Kerr added six. Nora Mitchell and Ines Guil chipped in three points each, and Linda White scored two.

TFS Boys Suffer First Loss

The girls win came prior to the Tallulah Falls boys suffering their first loss of the season, falling 57–54 at home to Prince in a tightly contested matchup.

Tallulah led 18–11 after the first quarter behind seven points from Neyo Bain and five from Todor Stanimirovic. The Indians maintained a 36–29 lead at halftime, with Bain erupting for 12 second-quarter points, including a 3-pointer.

Prince Avenue Christian mounted a comeback in the third, tying the game at 46 entering the final period. Tallulah was held to eight points in the fourth as the Wolverines closed out the win.

Bain finished with a season-high 28 points. Stanimirovic added nine, Marquis Rolle scored eight, Alberto Battino had five, and both Matus Zlocha and Brian Neely contributed two.
