CLEVELAND, GA – Today, Friday, November 21, is the last day for citizens of White County to submit an application for one of several board positions that are open in the county.
The positions include 1 seat on the Board of Assessors. Appointee must be able to attend regularly scheduled meetings on the second Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. and any called meetings throughout the course of the term.
One position to serve on the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities board. This appointment will be for a three-year (3) year term to expire December 31, 2028.
Parks and Recreation Advisory Board has four positions available. This board meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Yonah Preserve Recreation Center.
Two positions are available on the Planning Commission. This appointment will be for a three (3) year term to expire December 31, 2028.
