Toccoa Falls, Ga. — Toccoa Falls College will mark the holiday season with a series of events in December that are open to students, families and the broader community.
The celebrations begin Thursday, Dec. 4, with “Christmas at Toccoa Falls.” The free evening event will include lights, music and holiday-cheer as the campus gathers near the falls.
On Sunday, Dec. 7, the college will host two additional events. From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., the Currahee Artist Guild will showcase local artists and offer handmade gifts for sale. Later that day at 4 p.m., the Toccoa Symphony Orchestra will present its Christmas concert; tickets are available to the community through the orchestra’s website.
The series concludes on Thursday, Dec. 11, when the college will participate in the Toccoa Christmas Parade at 7 p.m. Downtown participants will include the college’s first-ever parade float, themed “Falls of Joy” and adorned with lights and evergreens.
Officials at Toccoa Falls College encourage the community to attend and join in the spirit of the season.
