The man who was the subject of an intense manhunt outside Clarkesville on Friday now faces a total of nine charges from Friday’s incidents.
Damion Thomas Mauldin, 21, of Clarkesville, now faces charges of first-degree burglary, aggravated stalking, two counts of battery, two counts of terroristic threats and acts, criminal damage to property, obstruction, and criminal trespass.

Mauldin was located in the restroom of a convenience store on Highway 115 at Habersham Mill Connector after an hours-long search of the area.
The search, by ground and air, had remained focused in the triangle between Georgia 17, Georgia 115, and Habersham Mill Connector, where the last sighting of Mauldin had been.
Mauldin bonded out of jail on July 31 on an $11,100 bond after being arrested on July 28 for aggravated assault under the Family Violence Act.
Friday’s incident started as a reported home invasion off Georgia Highway 17 near Victory Baptist Church at 10:18 a.m. and involved individuals known to each other.
Mauldin remains jailed at the Habersham County Detention Center in Clarkesville.
