North Georgia Technical College recently announced changes to the college’s leadership team.
The college named Dr. S. Vinson Burdette of Aiken, South Carolina, as its new vice president of student affairs. Burdette most recently served as vice president of academic and student affairs at Aiken Technical College.
In his ten years at Aiken Tech, Burdette also served as dean of student development, vice president of enrollment management, and vice president of student affairs and marketing. His new job at NGTC begins on April 1.
In addition to hiring Burdette, NGTC has expanded the role of one of its current vice presidents.
The college recently named Amy Hulsey as Executive Director of the NGTC Foundation. Hulsey takes over the role in addition to her responsibilities as vice president of institutional advancement and marketing.
Hulsey currently oversees NGTC’s marketing, advertising, media relations and communications. She most recently served as the school’s vice president of college and community relations.
Hulsey assumed her new duties on February 1.
