According to the Georgia State Patrol, 62-year-old Ronnie Fair was traveling east on Tom Born Road in a 2000 Chevrolet 1500. He attempted to cross over the southbound lanes of the highway but failed to yield. Fair’s pick-up ran into a 1998 Ford F150 driven by Herman Macario Hernandez of Clayton.
After impact, the Chevrolet came to a stop in the right southbound lane where a 2005 Pontiac Vibe hit it. 48-year-old Jinny Webb of Clayton was driving the Pontiac.
Hernandez and Webb both suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Habersham EMS transported the 52-year-old Hernandez to Habersham Medical Center for treatment. Webb was not transported to the hospital, according to GSP.
Hernandez was cited for driving without a license.
In addition to DUI, the Trooper charged Fair with failure to yield and cited him for not having his license on him.
