School’s just started but already many high schoolers are looking ahead to graduation. Representatives from three of Georgia’s largest colleges – the University of Georgia, Georgia Tech, and Georgia State University – are working hard to get their attention. They’ve embarked on a 23-stop statewide tour presenting information sessions on what their schools have to offer.
The Peach State Tour will hold sessions within 50 miles of every high school counselor and student in the state, according to its website. Habersham Central High School is one of the host sites.
Central will host the 2019 Peach State Tour on tonight, Tuesday, September 3, from 6-8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
The event is FREE and open to all area students and their parents or guardians.
Students were asked to register online but school officials say there should be plenty of room for anyone that wants to attend.
