Virginia Lou Sensinger, age 79, of Mt. Airy, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Sensinger was born on March 25, 1939, in Hiawassee, Georgia, to the late Grady and Florence Maney. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Sensinger. Mrs. Sensinger retired from Ethicon as an inspector with 24 years of loyal and dedicated service. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Ricky McCall and Joan and Curtis Weaver, all of Clarkesville; daughter, Jannie Dover of Mt. Airy; sisters: Erma Justus of Clayton, Juanita Tilson of Cornelia, and Patsy Russell of Clayton; brothers: James Maney of Mt. Airy, Jerry Maney of Turnerville, and Larry Maney of Cornelia; grandchildren: Chris Alston, Justin Garrett, Eric Dover, Johnathan Garrett, and Vanessa Higganbotham; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Pastor Chad Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at the funeral home.
The family will be at the residence of her daughter, Joan Weaver, 980 Dooley Road, Clarkesville, Georgia.
