Grief counseling offered in wake of parking lot tragedy

Grief and support services are being offered to those affected by the tragic death of a 3-year old boy in the Ingles grocery store parking lot Tuesday in Cleveland. A post on the White County Emergency Medical Services Facebook page says ministers will be available today (Wednesday) to meet with anyone impacted by the tragedy.

“In light of the tragic event that unfolded at Ingles today, the public service agencies of White County and the ministry services of Cleveland Worship Center are offering grief and support services to the public,” the post reads. “Ministers will be available at Cleveland Worship Center located at East Kytle Street and Dixon Street from 9-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. If more times are needed, they can be added.”

Easton Cain was killed when he was pinned between a truck and SUV.

The driver of the truck, 36-year old James Holcomb of Cleveland, was not injured in the accident. He’s charged with DUI, reckless driving, no insurance, and first degree vehicular homicide.
