White County Chamber Unveils Branding Campaign

(Cleveland)- Following an aggressive two month effort the White County Chamber of Commerce, working with a marketing consultant, Friday unveiled a new branding campaign for the county. The new campaign in conjunction with a soon to be live new chamber website will be used to target visitors who are looking for an adventure.

Linda Mosley with 365 Total Marketing said they started out with doing a lot of research and then got community leaders involved. She said they did a SWOT analysis, which involved looking at strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. From that they came up with about 100 tag lines and after hearing from community leaders they settled in on the winning tag line for the campaign, “Where Mother Nature Comes To Play, New Adventures Everyday.”

This tag line will be used in several aspects of marketing the county and the two cities Cleveland and Helen.
Mosley says, they are looking at adding more unique shopping opportunities and capitalize on the outdoor appeal, which is a natural with the mountain area in the county. “Natural resources, mountains, river , the state parks all of those assists are some of the most important parts of White County to market,” said Mosley.

According to Mosley, the campaign was developed so that anyone in the community can use the different elements, graphically as well as the tag line itself to market their business.

White County Chamber of Commerce President Cindy Bailey said the chamber’s new website utilizing elements of this new branding campaign will go live in a couple of weeks.
